I am a charter member of the local Papillon club, the Papillon Club of Southern California, which was established in 1972, and am a member of the Papillon Club of America. I attend most dog shows in Southern California and frequently travel to Northern California, Arizona and Nevada to attend shows.

Eleanor and her Papillons have participated yearly for over 10 years at the American Family Pet Expo, running and providing materials for the Papillon booth (come visit us!) in conjunction with the Papillon Club of Southern California.
In December 2003, the Elmac clan and members of the Papillon Club of Southern California were asked to participate in "Meet the Breed" program in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba Invitational Show:
At the annual Papillon Club of Southern California Specialty, Eleanor's dogs compete while Eleanor can be counted on to volunteer for raffle collections and Hospitality bags, and help prepare lunch. The Specialty is held every year on the July 4th weekend. It has been held in Ventura, California for the last several years.
